Mollusca is an indie band from Switzerland around the singer and song writer Rahel Müller, who asked me to design some merchandise for them. One image about the band Mollusca itself, and one illustrating their new song common cold

Mollusca is latin for mollusc, an umbrella term for any soft-bodied animal, like an octopus or a snail. The band describes itself as "a drink made of soft indie with a shot of distortion" and therefore we came up with an octopus in a cocktail glass, which I illustrated through a few layers into a splashy ink drawing.

common cold is a song about catching feelings which I illustrated playfully with lyrics such as "Why don't you draw me nearer?" and imagery showing queerness, shyness and uncertainty hiding behind big feelings.

If you are interested in commissioning me to illustrate your merchandise, please get in touch via e-mail.

My collaboration with Rahel Müller goes back to 2015 when she published her fist EP which I illustrated the album cover for.

The EP is to be found on spotify and the plain prints are available to purchase via my shop.
